Reign Lee is a legal consultant and business development advisor with over 15 years of management experience. Her expertise is focused on law firm management and leadership. In particular, she specialises in international strategy development, diversifying practice offerings, PR, client development and business planning.
Reign’s previous experience includes serving as a Director at a leading international media agency specialising in media planning and press relations services exclusively for top-tier law firms. Prior to that, she worked with Van Bael & Bellis, one of Brussels’ most regarded independent law firms, as the Head of BD and Marketing, and previously held a position as a Course Director and Training Partner running intensive training programs for corporate banks, international law firms and government bodies in Asia, Europe, the Middle East and the US. During her tenure with that company, she worked closely with many clients including Standard Chartered Bank, Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and the Securities and Futures Commission.
In a legal capacity, Reign specialises in research in the areas of EU competition and antitrust law, M&A, international trade law and corporate accountability in relation to human rights considerations.
Reign is on the Advisory Board of the GC Futures Summit in London (UK). Previously, she spent two years as the Conference Director of the Law Firm Marketing Summit, an event co-organised with Global Legal Post. As co-chair of the Advisory Board, she worked closely with leading industry experts from, among others, Allen & Overy, Kinstellar, Mischcon de Reya, Mourant Ozannes, PwC and White & Case in shaping the content for the programme.
Originally hailing from Canada, Reign has made her home in various parts of the world, including Ontario, Alberta, Arizona, Illinois, New York, Hong Kong, Belgium and England.
Reign holds a Diploma in Law, a BA (Hons) in Global Business Management and an LL.M. in International Business Law. She is a member of the International Bar Association (IBA) as well as the IBA’s Human Rights Institute (IBAHRI).
She regularly authors industry articles and speaks at conferences.
